I can't believe it's been since July that I've posted anything...so much has happened...ugh!  Caleb loves to swing.  Who can blame him?  It's fun!  This video was taken at Amy's 10 year high school reunion at a local park.  That boy could swing all day long!

Audrey's B-Day

We went to Audrey's 1 year old birthday on Saturday. It was pretty fun, except that Amy had a summer cold that was pretty bad...we couldn't stay the whole time.

Father's Day

Well, I had a great Father's Day. Amy and Caleb showered me with gifts and love. We went to church on Sunday morning and heard a great message on Daniel. Then we headed to Noah's Bagel's (a favorite of ours) for lunch. The pictures a little blurry, but that's okay! Caleb loves to gum spoons...

I sure do love Caleb and I sure do love being a father! Thanks for a wonderful day, Amy and Caleb! I love you both!

Camping at Cove Palisades

We thought we would give camping a try. It was pretty fun, but a lot tougher with a 7-month old. Let's just say we only stayed one night!

Seattle the Cat - 8/1/2005-5/20/2008

Amy's cat, Seattle, passed away on May 20th, 2008 in the year of our Lord. Seattle died while crossing the street early in the morning. It is unknown as to the exact cause of death, but it can be concluded that he was hit by a car.

Seattle was adopted by Amy in Kyiv, Ukraine at a pet market. Amy was led by the Lord to Seattle as she prayed for the right cat to adopt. She then turned around and there was this teenage girl right there with Seattle.

Seattle was loved by many in Kyiv and as well as here in the States.
We brought Seattle back to the States in 2006 with hopes of providing him a happy home. Unfortunately, he got out of our apartment one day and attacked the Landlord's bird in their apartment. We were given 2 days to find a new home for Seattle.

Fortunately, I found a co-worker who had a hobby farm that would make a great home for our little guy. Seattle became Harley and also became a part of John's family. He was the leader of the cat pack on the farm. He will be remembered as the great hunter. Hardly a week would go by without some tale from John on one of Seattle's (Harley's) great hunts.

Seattle will be missed by many, but especially by those he attacked endlessly.

Goodbye Seattle...may you find rest and peace in pet Heaven.

Grandpa and Grandma Engle come to Oregon

Dad and Joyce came to visit us up here in good ole Oregon. It was their second trip to the northwest, but the first time that we got to hang and show them the sites. Of course the real reason they came was to give Caleb kisses!

Trip to Cannon Beach

Amy and I desparately needed to get away so we decided to take a trip to the beach...it's awesome living in Oregon! We called up a place, got winter rates and headed out. It was a weekend filled with many firsts for Caleb: first roadtrip, first time to the freezing cold, rainy beach! He did great on the trip there and back sleeping the whole time! Check out the pics from out trip!

Caleb is 3 months old!

Well, it's been a long 3 months, but obviously worth it. Caleb is the cutiest baby in the world! Come on, I dare you to tell us otherwise! One of these days we're going to take some pictures of Caleb outside of the apartment...I promise!
